Growing from passion - and family
Davy Lievens literally grew up among trucks. His father was behind the wheel of a truck for years, his godfather had his own transport company. So the love of the road was in his blood from an early age.
After a period with vans and stationary trucks, Davy got his CE driving licence in 2003. Like his father, he started with sea container transport. He gained years of experience with various companies until he decided in 2008: it was time for something of his own. And so Transport Davy Lievens was born, together with his girlfriend Sylvie and son Sam.
The growth of an ambitious company
But Davy could do more than just drive. His organisational skills caught the eye - not only with customers, but also with clients. Soon he also took on coordination: planning, managing drivers, customer contact... It soon became clear: something beautiful is growing here.
A name with Meaning
On 1 July 2019, Helena Boden joined the team. Helena immediately emerged as an administrative rock. Today, she is a fixture in the company - and in the family.
That evolution led to a new name and structure in 2020: HSSD Logistics. A nod to who we are - Helena, Sam, Sylvie and Davy.
